A sweet birthday tee for your little rocker …

I worked on a colorful vintage cake stand over the holidays.  I shouldn’t say it was work … as one of my favorite things is pairing up new fabrics, colors, prints, etc.  I packaged it up and shipped it off to Erika of Letter B … and then went about my crazy holiday schedule. A couple weeks later, these arrived in my email …

It was a cute tee when I packaged it up and shipped it off … but it just looks better on a happy birthday girl holding a giant lollipop!

We love all things Olivia in our house.  Needless to say, I was thrilled to design an Olivia inspired birthday tee.  Since Olivia loves all things red, I came up with several designs using red.  The birthday girl chose this one …

And it was my favorite!  I used some fabric extras from a screenprinting I did a while back for the white fabric background.

I can definitely see Olivia wearing this little red number in one of her books … wouldn’t that be fun!

I had a stressful day yesterday … no one’s fault … just not my day!  There were two things that cheered me up.  First, my girlfriend sent me a photo of her 2 year old son dressed up in her daughter’s shoes … knee high lace up converse.  It was funny!
