I love holiday crafts…especially ones I can do with my kids!

These candy ornaments are the perfect craft for the attention spans of a 4 year old and 7 year old…

crafty: the perfect gift

Here is a simple gift that is sure to put a smile on anyone’s face… 2011 calendar and a gift card!

Supplies…

  • Vintage Rudolph Printables from The TomKat Studio
  • card stock (cut to the size you need)
  • fabric scraps
  • scissors
  • sewing maching
  • hole punch
  • 2 inch scallop circle punch
  • tape or glue
  • silver 1 inch binder rings
  • printable calendar
  • gift card

Printable calendar purchased from Blue Tricycle .  Each month has a new nature inspired design.  I printed my calendars at the office supply store…but you could easily print them at home.

Tip … Put a little bit of tape on the back of the gift card…to be sure your gift doesn’t fall out of it’s cute little pocket!

this weekend…

I am flying solo this weekend with my girl while the boys are camping.  I have a fun, lazy weekend planned with my little sidekick…

She really does have spectacular morning hair!
