My new favorite design in my shop is a one of a kind…

I love the heart on the back made with left over screenprint lettering.

I haven’t mentioned my house construction in a while.  The construction portion is OVER…thankfully.  After 4 months, our house is back to normal.  It is wonderful.  Now that I have partially recovered from the construction phase of the project, I am starting to enter the decorating phase…my favorite part.  Now to the boat oars…my sister and I came across these old boat oars on a girls trip to Canton a few weeks ago.  It was her idea to use them as some sort of wall decoration.  She bought some for her house.  I decided to copy her since they had a pair in a silvery, grey color….perfect for my craft/laundry room.

I wanted to use them as a decoration but also for them to have a purpose in the room…to hang stuff.  I loaded up my oars and went to Elliot’s Hardware.  With the help of a very nice employee, I found some random hardware parts that would get the job done.

The shocking part is that there was no profanity when hanging these on the wall…it was really easy.  Now I just have to figure out what I am going to hang on my boat oars!

Ready to Ship….

This may not seem like a big deal…but it is!  I typically receive 3-4 messages per week requesting last minute items…Vintage Cake Stands, Peace Signs, Holiday Designs, etc.   I really want to accommodate everyone but then find myself sewing at 1am…when I should be sound asleep.  So…I decided to have a section dedicated to items that are Ready To Ship.  I will be adding them over the next couple days….and I have a lot to add!  Some of my best sellers, as well as a few one of a kind screen print tees and even a dress!

My sister threw an amazing Halloween party this past weekend…

The chandelier above is one of my favorite parts of the entire party….she used over 30 yards of cheesecloth to create the “spooky” effect. 

I have a major sweet tooth so….I was in Halloween heaven. 

She also had a second table with savory treats…

It was fabulous…and way too much fun!!!

I have been strictly forbidden from posting pictures of the partygoers and their costumes.  Take my word for it…the costumes were excellent.
