It really was perfect…a big smile crosses my face every time I think of Ava Kate’s birthday party.  She loved every minute of being in the spotlight.   I am so happy with the way the party came together… and I couldn’t have done it without the help of lots of crafty mommas.   As is obvious in the photo below…the face painting booth was a big hit! 

 Everyone went home with some pink cotton candy flavored popcorn…

She smiled all day long…

Too Cute For Words!

Ava Kate asked for a crown for her birthday.  When she opened her presents from family on her actual birthday (June 6), she did not get a crown.  She didn’t say anything at the time, but casually mentioned later in the afternoon that she still wanted a crown.   Subtle…she was just making sure I hadn’t forgotten!

I was secretly hiding a crown for her…a fabulous crown from True Love Found.  Amy from True Love Found created the most perfect crown and matching wand for Ava Kate’s party.  The morning of her party, I gave her this….

…and she loves it.  It’s hard not to!  There are so many crowns to choose from.  Who wouldn’t love this…

The party….it was absolutely perfect.  Lot of smiles and dirty, icing covered faces!   I can’t wait to share the photos…my photographer will be sending me the party photos soon….but here is a teaser!

Back to work…I have a lot of cleaning to do!

I am starting to feel like I am getting close to the finish line.  Ava’s party is Sunday and I am almost ready…ALMOST.   She walks around the house asking…”Is it Sunday yet?”  It’s hard for a little girl to have to wait, especially when she sees decorations already up!
